Education

Mr De Vita holds a BSc in computer science, with a minor in economics, and a graduate diploma in law. His innate curiosity in both the workings of the human mind and how machines function led to Mr De Vita’s studies in computer science, where he learned about complex systems and advanced coding. Becoming increasingly fascinated with psychology, he began to understand that the best tech connects with its users’ needs and sensibilities.

Professional Interests

A general passion for consumer electronics was a natural result of Mr De Vita’s interest in psychology and technology; he is fascinated with these devices, which have the potential to significantly impact how we interact with the world and live in general. Furthermore, his studies have given him a unique perspective on how consumer electronics function, with his interest in psychology enabling him to see how these devices have far-reaching implications for our behaviours and experiences.

Programming

As part of his computer science studies, Mr De Vita learned about programming languages, including C++. This cross-platform language is used to develop high-performance applications and is an extension of the C language. It gives programmers a higher level of control over system resources and memory and has been updated five times to date. One of the most popular programming languages in the world, C++ provides programmes with a clear structure and decreases development costs by allowing codes to be reused. It’s also portable and can be deployed to create apps that can be adapted for multiple platforms, and it is relatively easy to learn.

The computer science BSc course taken by Mr De Vita comprised modules, including information systems, software development and digital systems, with students required to complete an individual project in their final year and work closely with a university academic as part of this endeavour.

Hobbies & Interests

In his free time, Mr De Vita enjoys cooking, reading and playing golf and badminton. He owns marine fish and corals and is exceptionally well-travelled. He has visited countries including the United States, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Egypt and Turkey.
